Bubber' Rocket ’53 up for auction

 

When DinBilauktion.dk opens its doors on September 20 for the ‘Classic Event & Auction’ in Børkop, it will not only be a celebration for everyone with a love for classic cars and motorcycles – it also marks the end of a small TV era.

At the same time that visitors can look forward to the auction, the iconic Oldsmobile Rocket ’53 will be up for bid – the car that Bubber has driven around the country to American car meets and communities in the TV program “Bubber and the Rocket” on DK4.

The car has had a special journey. It was brought home directly from Los Angeles by the TV crew, restored, and then used as a rolling centerpiece for the story of Danish American car culture. Now, as the program comes to an end, one lucky buyer has the chance to take the baton and become the new owner of this legendary car.
