When registering, the seller categorizes the car into one of the following categories.
DinBilauktion.dk does not test drive individual cars, and the categorization is therefore based on trust in the information provided by the seller to DinBilauktion.dk. In case of incorrect categorization and subsequent cancellation of the sale, the seller must pay both the buyer’s and seller’s commission.
The catalog number is free from significant defects or faults, meaning that all key functions, such as the engine and gearbox (if the catalog number refers to a vehicle), are operational. For example, a faulty air conditioning system is not considered a significant defect or fault if the catalog number is a vehicle. There must be no major mechanical or technical issues that affect usability. Wear parts cannot be subject to complaints. For A-classification, all stated operating counters (hour meters, engine running times, odometers, etc.) are the responsibility of the consignor, and the buyer retains a 1-month right of return against the consignor if it can be proven that the stated counters were incorrect at the time of the hammer fall.
The catalog number is generally free from significant defects or faults, but there will be specific circumstances stated in the catalog that prevent the catalog number from qualifying for an A-classification. Wear parts cannot be subject to complaints.
For B-classifications, all stated operating counters (hour meters, engine running times, odometers, etc.) are the responsibility of the consignor, and the buyer retains a 1-month right of return against the consignor if it can be proven that the stated counters were incorrect at the time of the hammer fall.
A catalog number with this classification is sold without any form of right to claim and will often include auction items from forced sales, estate administrators, bankruptcies, bailiff’s court, etc. Stated operating counters (hour meters, engine running times, odometers, etc.) are provided without liability and may contain inaccuracies, which must be accepted by the buyer.
